We are excited to announce the Spring 2018 theme for the Carolina Consortium on Human Development— Developmental Considerations in Health Disparities Research.   Over the course of this semester, we will explore developmental mechanisms underlying health disparities from an interdisciplinary perspective. We will have someone from SILS coming to CDS on Monday, April 16th to provide a professional development workshop on the finer points of making research posters for professional conferences.  This will take place in the CDS lower level classroom from 10-11:30.  Any one is welcome to attend, including undergraduates, graduate students, staff and faculty.  The SILS staff will demo newer software for poster making (what – is there something beyond powerpoint?
