We are continuing our Spring 2018 Carolina Consortium on Human Development as our weekly speakers explore this semester’s theme—Developmental Considerations in Health Disparities Research.
Dr. Tiffany Yip will give a talk entitled: “A Peek Inside the Black Box: Linking Discrimination to Adolescent Outcomes” this coming Monday, March 26, from 2:00-3:15pm in the lower level classroom of the Center for Developmental Science (100 E. Franklin Street; Basement Level).
Dr. Yip is a professor of Psychology at Fordham University. Her major research interests are ethnic identity development among minority youth, young adults and adults; direct and indirect association between ethnic identity and psychological adjustment; and impact of ethnic-specific and general stressors for well-being outcomes.
