Research Interests & Goals:
Dr. Stuart Marcovitch studies cognitive development, particularly the conscious control of behavior in childhood and across the lifespan. Dr. Marcovitch is a co-director of the DUCK Lab (Development and Understanding of Children’s Knowledge) with Dr. Janet Boseovski. He is also the PI on the NICHD funded School Transitions and Academic Readiness (STAR) Project with Susan Calkins, Marion O’Brien and Esther Leerkes; and a co-investigator in the NICHD funded Cognition, Affect, and Psychophysiology (CAP) Project with Martha Ann Bell, Kirby Deater-Deckard, and Susan Calkins.
